Project for User-friendly Technical Documentation
The project SECUREDOC is focused on consumer-related aspects of technical documentation and is supported by the Directorate General Health and Consumer Protection of the European Commission. Four member organisations of TCeurope (CRT, ISTC, STD and tekom) will, together with consumer organisations in Austria, Finland, Germany and Sweden and the Donau-Universität Krems, developed a practical guideline to help manufacturers and service providers to produce user-friendly instruction manuals for consumer goods. The consumers' view point plays an important part in the guideline. To find out the consumers' needs, a survey was carried out. Read about the results of the survey here: PDF (14,9 KB)
