TECOM Schweiz

TECOM Schweiz, the Swiss society for technical communication was founded at Zurich in February 1987. Members of this free and neutral branch association are

  • authors, editors, illustrators and other technical communicators,
  • operative as contractors, employees or independent individuals
  • in the applied science (R&D, technical laboratories, software, etc.)
  • in different industries (mostly in the machine industry for investment and consumer goods)
  • in domestic trade, economy, banking, advertising or translation business, etc.
  • and working in, for or with professional companies, offering technical communication services in all its exciting aspects.

The society offers to its members branch information, further development of TC, national and international contacts and corresponding events on technical communication as workshops and seminars.
